WHY OFFLINE?
According to a recent UN report more than one third of the world’s population has never been online. This does not take into account the many people, who can’t afford to buy expensive data bundles, or those who are living under restrictions, and therefore can’t access the resources they need. There are also many who prefer to be offline for security reasons or to avoid distractions. No matter the reason, there are many people all over the world, who are offline, either full-time or part-time. In OfflineX we are building solutions to serve these diverse groups.
OUR CLIENTS
We are creating solutions for training and media distribution which can be used by any organisation, company, or institution who wishes to increase its scope by providing digital resources in an offline context. We want to offer our solutions to the whole world, but our product is designed particularly to fit the needs of the majority world.
SERVICES WE OFFER
We are offering a four-fold service:
Cutting-edge cloud technology to manage offline devices and create content packages (media and training) for offline distribution. Our cloud solution provide collaborative functions and the ability to share content between organisations.
The OxBoX hardware solution designed to serve in rough contexts. The OxBoX creates a wifi hotspot. Any smartphone, tablet, or computer can access the prestored content for streaming or downloading. The OxBoX can connect to the cloud, whenever internet is available and get access to new content and share statistical and analytical data.
Learning and Student Management System based on Moodle standards. This will help learners all over the world to get access to a structured learning experience.
Instructional design of courses and media resources. We know that many are struggling to create the right format for their content. We offer support and can be directly involved in the instructional design processes.
We want to build lasting relationships with the clients we serve, and we want to respond to their needs – also when customized solutions are required.
HOW WE OPERATE
We are in the forefront when it comes to technology, but our clients are in the frontend, when it comes to delivery. Therefore it is important for us to carefully listen to our clients’ needs, so they can help define the technology, we are offering.
We are serving backend to provide the right solution to real-life challenges.
